The Asia-Pacific Network on Global Change Research (APN) has just released a report on the new projects funded by the APN in 2014 under its Climate Adaptation Framework (CAF). These focused activities tackle the links between climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk reduction (DRR) in the context of loss and damage (L&D).
Encompassing an array of climate change related issues within Asia and the Pacific, the projects are subdivided into three themes: (1) Assessing and Reducing Climate Change Risks across Sectors and Timescales; (2) Developing Tools for Assessing Economic and Non-economic L&D; and (3) Integrating CCA, DRR and L&D Reduction into Policy Development.
